Computers For Life™ Campaign
Toxics in electronics are known to cause cancer
Just one computer can contain hundreds of chemicals, including lead, mercury, cadmium, brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Many of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, respiratory illness and reproductive problems. They are especially dangerous because of their ability to travel long distances through air and water and accumulate in our bodies and the environment.
Our Computers For Life™ campaign was started by Evangelos Tseros, founder and director of Ewaste Recyclers.
Having full awareness of the impact chemicals found in computer equipment have on our environment and our health and having gone through the battle against cancer him self, he formed the Computers For Life™ campaign to tackle both issues.
Environmental Issue by providing Environmentally Friendly Recycling of Computers and Electronic Equipment.
Health issues by donating part of our proceeds to the Children's Cancer Institute Australia for childhood cancer research.

There would be few greater achievements than finding a cure for childhood cancer. The Children’s Cancer Institute Australia is committed to working towards this goal.
